Fences built for North Georgia ground.
Alpine Fence is owned and run by Trent Reeder. He does the quote, plans the fence around your slope and trees, and is on site each day until it is built. Wood, chain link, aluminum, farm fence, and gates across Dahlonega and the surrounding mountains.
Straight answers from the person who builds your fence.
Alpine Fence LLC is a local fence company in Dahlonega. When you call, you talk to Trent. He comes out, walks the property, and tells you plainly what will work on your ground and what it will cost. Then he builds it.
His customers mention the same things: he shows up on time, keeps you updated, sticks to the price he quoted, and takes care with the details, like setting posts in concrete and working a fence line around hills, trees, and runoff.
He provided friendly, honest, and pressure-free service. He came by the house, got me a quote the next day, and had me scheduled for the following week.John Lee, Google review

A fence is only as good as the ground it stands on.
Flat-lot methods do not hold up on a North Georgia hillside. Every Alpine fence starts with a walk of the property to plan for the slope, the soil, and the water.
Slopes and hills
Fence lines that follow the grade, stepped or racked, and planned so the bottom stays close to the ground.
Rock and red clay
Posts set in concrete at a depth that holds in North Georgia soil, so the fence stays straight.
Water and runoff
On a hilly job in Cleveland, Trent added a French drain to move rainwater away from the fenced area.
Dogs, deer, and rabbits
Heights and wire chosen for what you need to keep in or keep out, from a Yorkie to a garden.
From the first call to the final walkthrough.
Five steps, the same on every job. Tap a step to see what happens.

Read the full review on Google Irene StannardMay 2026Trent put up a black chain link fence for my dog in a hilly wooded area next to my house in Cleveland. I had called several fencing companies for quotes and chose Alpine Fence because not only did they have the best quote, Trent also came out right away to measure the area and counseled me on how to work with the terrain, even building a small ditch with a French drain to divert rain runoff water from the fenced area. The fence is sturdy and looks beautiful and professional. Trent took a lot of care to set all posts in concrete, properly tighten the wire fencing and attach it to the posts, top rails, and bottom wire. The job took two days, and my dog and I are very happy!

He gave us a very fair quote, scheduled the job quickly, and got it done in two days. Our dogs are very happy to have a place to run free now and we’re thankful he did such a great job.
